With the release of H&M's impressive sustainability report, we have been thinking about the many forms corporate social responsibility takes.  Recycling tends to be a forgotten component, outside of the vintage business.  We remembered Hermes' petit h atelier, which brings together defective merchandise, material waste and artists to re-create them into surprising products.  

 

H&M's recycling program with i:Collect has launched this year, where consumers can bring in a bag of clothes of any brand for a 15% discount on their next purchase.  For a fast-fashion brand to consider the consumption habits and waste it contributes to landfills is impressive.  Read the full sustainability report here
