Virtual learning designer
As a Virtual learning experience & instructional designer, you are vital in developing and delivering learning products for our global client base. You will be responsible for creating innovative, engaging virtual learning experiences that will support our clients’ learners and deliver meaningful results. The ideal candidate has both creative instructional design skills and sound technical knowledge.
You are:

You have:
2+ years’ experience in instructional design focused on digital learning development.
Intermediate skill in data science and presentation, creating impactful learning assets.
Proven track record of implementing strategies, ideas, solutions, and projects.
Tools you will use:
Various eLearning tools (Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate), Responsive Design, and Learning Management Systems (Thinkific, Brillium, etc.).
Intermediate proficiency in the following software packages: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Experience with Adobe CC is also an asset.
Web-based work management system (asana) and project management (Jira).
Responsibilities:
Coordinate training development from project scoping through to delivery, reporting, and evaluation.
Design and develop digital learning curriculums, job aids, assessment tools and graphic assets, streamlining for cohesive storytelling and optimal learner engagement.
Designing and writing assessments for learning. Some projects require writing the first draft of learning content with the project SME(s).
Be responsible for learning experience design, including graphic, video and text content uploading to the learning management system, and assist with machine translations for a global learner audience.
Editing scripts, text, videos, and graphic assets, taking the learner's perspective and ensuring clear and engaging communication and grammatical accuracy.
Work with clients during project reviews, interpreting and incorporating feedback, and seeing the project through to completion.
Participate in maintaining and delivering best-in-class project management systems and processes to produce reports and provide data to project stakeholders (client, project team lead, team
Communicate regularly with internal stakeholders proposing innovative learning solutions that support the organization’s needs and advocate for learner experience. You are the SME for development trends and tools.
Assist with creating and implementing guidelines, standard operating procedures and manuals relevant to the role.
Meet all deadlines and communicate all risks to that goal.
