Internship - Project coordinator

Requirements:

  • Able to exercise discretion and tact with sensitive and confidential situations.

  • Able to manage multiple priorities and high attention to detail. Someone with superior organizational skills, attention to detail and follow through.

  • A team player with exceptional customer service orientation as well as the ability to work independently as required.

  • You actively participate in meetings and ask clarifying questions on work product.

  • You identify and work to increase the efficiency and quality of work.

  • Computer literate at the intermediate level, with proficiency in the following software packages: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint. Experience with Adobe CC is also an asset. 

  • A passion for data science and presentation would be considered a bonus.

  • Someone with previous project management and bookkeeping experience would be considered an asset.

The project coordinator will provide day-to-day support to the Project Team lead in delivering a broad range of Operational, Project Management and administrative activities that will be a key contributor to the success of the multimedia training products for our clients.

Responsibilities: 

  • Participate in maintaining and delivering best-in-class project management systems and processes to produce reports and provide data as required.

  • Work closely with the Project Team lead to assist with a variety of project team initiatives, including graphic, video and text content uploading to the learning management system, assist script and graphic translations, and script reviews. Some production assistant-type duties may also be part of the role (on and off set).

  • Prepare correspondence and various documents such as reports, presentations, meeting agenda and minutes.

  • Assist with team administrative and operational duties.

  • Maintain an updated version of the budget for the project, including expense management.

  • Assist with the creation and implementation of guidelines, standard operating procedures and manuals.

  • Meet all deadlines and communicate all risks to that goal.
