Printemps to be acquired by Disa
Our new investors are very committed to making Printemps an icon in luxury retailing
Originally expected to obtain ownership of 70% of the retailer Printemps, Disa looks to be on track to obtain full ownership of the French retailer by summer. "Our new investors are very committed to making Printemps an icon in luxury retailing, " said Printemps chairman and CEO Paolo de Cesare. With significant success in rebuilding and investing in new brands, the retailer now has their sights set on the top 10 cities in France. Six years ago Printemps was worth $1.3 billion US at current exchange, and is now valued at $2.1 billion US. With a forecast of another 30 percent increase in 5 years, the investors and retailer also have their sights on international locations beyond that.
