As I approached the art deco building of the former stock exchange, I began to see that I was in excellent company.  Chic families speaking quietly to eachother in French were walking towards the entrance and ascending the stairs together.  The audience already thought highly of the Atelier we were here to celebrate – the silk scarves worn by each of the women in attendance was clear evidence of that.
