Canada's Federal Budget 2013
The Federal Government made significant changes to tariffs in support of Canadian families. Removing import duties on sporting goods (with the exception of bicycles) will help reduce pricing barriers for active Canadians, while removing duty for baby clothes should alleviate some financial pressure for young families.
However, that good news story is tempered by the increase in duties for goods coming from more than 70 countries including India, China and Brasil.
